No matter how cool the new iPhone 4 looks like, it still has its flaws. Like any other device that is newly released, iPhone 4 is not yet perfected to brilliance. True that iPhone 4 is the most awaited high end gadget of the season but as the gadget has been unveiled to the public, hundreds of reports came in suggesting the problems of the new iPhone.
The most common problem reported is the poor battery life. Like all the other iPhones released, the new iPhone 4’s battery drains fast. There are many factors looked upon why the problem occurs but it has been observed that the most commonly responsible for this problem are faulty battery indicator and overactive push mechanism. Also, the ability of the gadget to multitask eats up the battery’s power.
There were also some users who complained about the “yellow splotches” that they see on the side of the display screens. It has been said that the yellow discoloration only appears upon start-up or activation and fades when used longer. Apple defended that the reason for the yellow color seen on screens are caused by the glue or sticking material used was not dried due to the demand for the new gadget thus shipments were rushed in order to be sent over to different distributors.
If you hold the phone incorrectly, you lose all reception. The steel band antenna is located on the lower left side of the phone.
The minute one touches the antenna, signal plummets from full to nothing. This also affects the WiFi connectivity of the gadget which creates another problem for the users because one of the reasons why iPhones are most loved is its ability to connect to the web through WiFi. However, Apple has never had outstanding wifi on its products. It seems that Apple is aware of the problem, as they have released a statement relating to the proper use of the phone and responded with: “Don’t hold it like that.”
Another problem with the gadget is it does not allow the users to utilize Flash. This means that some of the videos cannot be viewed on your phone. Reports said that users were clamouring because of the inability of the phone to use Flash, it cripples the maximum potential of web usage. Thus, it limits customer satisfaction.
Plenty of iPhone 4 users have also complained that the rear camera stops working. This happens when you take a picture only to find that the virtual shutter on your camera is stuck shut.
If you have picked up this new phone and have been experiencing the same problems, it shouldn’t be a wonder. Newly released gadgets are still flawed and the more techy the gadget is, the more problems it faces.
